It’s Time to Reorganize!

On Thursday, December 14, 2017 the Roanoke City Democratic Committee will reorganize. For those who may be unfamiliar, what that means is that all positions on the committee are up for election through a caucus. On the evening of the caucus, any person who believes in Democratic Party principles living in the city of Roanoke will gather at the Ramada Inn, 1927 Franklin Rd. SW.  Doors will open at 6:00pm and close at 6:30pm.   Those in line at 6:30pm will still be allowed to participate.

Please review the following documents:

1) Email from the current secretary describing the reorganization process

2) Roanoke City Democratic Committee Call to Caucus

3) Roanoke City Democratic Committee Temporary Rules for Caucus

4) Roanoke City Democratic Committee Pre-Filing Form for Executive Committee (due noon on  December 12)

5) Roanoke City Democratic Committee Pre-filing forms for Precinct captains (can be filled out on the 14th)

“As a Democrat, I want to use my energy toward efforts that restore trust among the people. That can only be accomplished by pushing radical change.”
